The Manual Deadbolt must be locked and unlocked with a key each time. The Automatic Deadbolt locks itself when the door closes. Manual deadbolts are often used to meet insurance requirements or as a second lock in dual or triple setups.

Yes. It meets British Standard BS3621 and is keyed from both sides — a requirement for most home insurance policies.

Traditional 5-lever mortice locks can’t be keyed alike and use older “Chubb-style” keys. Finfort’s euro cylinder deadbolt is BS3621 certified, more secure, and can be keyed alike across multiple doors.
