  • Beautiful high-security locks  – an elegant matching 2-lock door set for classic British front doors with one high-security auto-deadbolt nightlatch that automatically locks without turning a key and a second insurance-compliant, key-operated manual deadbolt you choose when to use.  
  • High-security cylinders – 3 star ABS MASTER cylinders are designed to resist attack by snapping, picking, drilling and bumping.  They are Secured by Design accredited and Sold Secure Diamond Grade.   
  • Kitemarked insurance compliant – The automatic deadbolt is BS8621 certified and the manual deadbolt is BS3621 certified and kitemarked. Both locks have a 21mm steel bolt that can withstand 10kN of force and a hardened steel lock case that can withstand 5 minutes of constant drilling.  
  • Registered keys offer the highest security – keys cannot be copied without permission. Additional keys can be ordered online by key card holders only.
  • One key opens both locks – both locks use identical TS007 3 star ABS Master cylinders so one key opens both locks (say goodbye to your heavy keys!). The automatic deadbolt uses a thumbturn (so no keys required to exit in an emergency) and the manual deadbolt is key operated. Locks can be opened with one hand in any order.
  • Reliable long life assured – these UK-made locks have been tested 200,000 times (that’s about 20 years of use for an average house) to achieve its EN12209 certification, which is why we guarantee the lock for 10 years.
  • Heavy duty lockguards– adding extra protection to the cylinders against tampering and act as a visual deterrent to a burglar.
  • Sleek & elegant design – unlike bulky nightlatch locks mounted onto the door, the auto-deadbolt nightlatch is embedded into the door so is a more elegant solution suitable to period or modern homes.

    FAQ - About our dual door lock set

    An automatic deadbolt automatically locks the door with a solid deadbolt every time the door closes. The lock mechanism has a connected trigger and bolt action: when the trigger makes contact with the strike plate in the door frame, the lock throws the deadbolt to secure the door automatically. 

    An automatic deadbolt is more secure as a thief cannot slip it as they could latch, and you can’t forget to lock it as you would a manual deadbolt.  Therefore, you never make your home an easy target for an opportunist thief. 

    Yes, Finfort automatic deadbolts are particularly well suited to outward opening doors.  A latch lock on an outward opening door can be easily opened.  A Finfort automatic deadbolt greatly reduces this vulnerability as a solid bolt cannot be easily manipulated, even when the bolt is visible. On an outward opening door, because our locks include a deadbolt tumbler feature so that the deadbolt cannot be forced backwards when in the locked position, even under a very substantial backwards force.

    Yes, if you fit Finfort locks on another door at any time in the future, we can arrange for them all to be keyed-alike so one key opens all locks. Say goodbye to heavy bunch of keys!

    A hold-back button below the deadbolt lets you keep the door on the latch whenever you want, so you can nip to the bins or unload the car without locking yourself out. Slide it down and automatic deadlocking resumes as normal.
