  • Simple security upgrade – Adding a FinBolt will give you automatic deadbolting, that works seamlessly with your existing insurance BS3621 compliant locks, automatically locking without turning a key.
  • Easy exit assured – TS2007 3 star ABS MASTER thumbturn cylinder designed to resist attack by snapping, picking, drilling and bumping. They are British Kitemarked and Secure by Design accredited. Being thumbturn operated means you can always exit quickly in case of emergency.
                       
  • Registered keys to offer the highest security – keys cannot be copied without permission. Additional keys can be ordered online by key card holders only.
  • Built and tested to British standards – BS8621 certified including a 21mm steel bolt that can withstand 10kn of force and a hardened steel lock case that can withstand 5 minutes of constant drilling.

    A deadbolt is far more secure than a latch bolt. A latch is a passive form of locking a door. A burglar can slip a latch in less than 30 seconds.  See how they do it.

    Former burglar turned security expert Michael Fraser "Just one lock on a door isn’t enough. Burglars can use their foot to check whether there is a dead lock on the door. If the door moves more than two millimetres, they will immediately know that your door isn’t double locked, giving them easier access to your property.’

    An automatic deadbolt automatically locks the door with a solid deadbolt every time the door closes. The lock mechanism has a connected trigger and bolt action: when the trigger makes contact with the strike plate in the door frame, the lock throws the deadbolt to secure the door automatically. 

    An automatic deadbolt is more secure as a thief cannot slip it as they could latch, and you can’t forget to lock it as you would a manual deadbolt.  Therefore, you never make your home an easy target for an opportunist thief. 



    Yes, the auto-deadbolt nightlatch has a snib button below the bolt that can be moved up to temporarily disable the automatic deadbolt, allowing easy access when you're coming in and out of the house.

    Yes! All Finfort locks can be keyed alike — whether on the same door or across different doors — giving you the convenience of a one-key home.

    If you prefer a smaller lockguard style, choose the Auto-Deadbolt Nightlatch and select “No Pull” from the dropdown menu. You can also add door pulls if desired.

    The internal lock mechanism and door profile are identical in both products — the difference lies in the external door furniture.

    The Auto Deadbolt Nightlatch comes with compact lockguards and optional door pulls, while the Automatic Deadbolt features larger faceplates.

    If you prefer the smaller plate style, simply select the Auto Deadbolt Nightlatch and choose “No Pull” from the dropdown menu.

    A truly excellent lock

    We were looking for a deadbolt nightlatch for our bed and breakfast property as part of the refurbishment of our entrance. It not only had to be stylish, but also simple for guests to use - easy to close without difficulty. This led us to Finfort. We are absolutely delighted with the lock and it really ticks all the boxes. Using high quality materials it really looks the part. A far more elegant solution to more traditional nightlatches and enhances the door.
