Finfort's patented automatic deadbolt nightlatch lock case is paired with an SKG*** rated smart cylinder to create a high-security smart locking solution. When digitally activated, the external knob mechanically engages the lock case to open the lock, and the case mechanically deadbolts the lock when the door closes.

Bold Smart Cylinder

  • High-security smart cylinder – The Bold cylinder is certified SKG***, the top grade of the Dutch SKG security standard.

                                            

  • Keyless entry – Unlock with the Bold app over Bluetooth at the door, a backup PIN, or hands-free Auto Entry, which recognises you as you approach.
  • Smart features – The Bold Elite cylinder adds Follow-in Protection, Button Auto Disable and Matter smart-home compatibility. Tamper, leave and night alerts and remote access are available with the Bold Connect bridge.

  • Automatic deadbolt locking – Patented mechanism that mechanically deadbolts without battery operation or user intervention, so the door secures itself on closing even if your phone or the cylinder battery is flat. A flat battery can never leave you unlocked.

  • Tested to British standards – The lock case used in this product is BS8621-certified when paired with a BS-rated cylinder.  Includes a robust 21mm steel bolt capable of withstanding 10kN of force and a hardened steel case that can endure 5 minutes of continuous drilling.

    FAQ - About our Smart Nightlatch

    The Finfort Smart Auto-Deadbolt Nightlatch combines mechanical security with smart technology. It automatically deadbolts every time the door closes, ensuring your home is secure. You can unlock it using the Bold Smart Lock app, a fob, or a backup PIN code. For remote access, you can add the Bold Connect Wi-Fi bridge.

    The nightlatch features a 21mm mechanical deadbolt for robust physical security. The Bold Smart Lock is SKG*** certified, indicating high resistance to burglary attempts. Additionally, it employs end-to-end encryption to protect against digital threats.

    If your phone battery is depleted, you can still unlock your Finfort Smart Auto-Deadbolt Nightlatch using the Bold Smart Lock's backup PIN feature. This allows you to access your home without relying on your smartphone.

    Setting Up the Backup PIN:

    1. Open the Bold app on your smartphone.
    2. Navigate to the settings for your Bold Smart Lock.
    3. Enable the backup PIN feature.
    4. Create a personal 5-digit PIN code.

    Using the Backkup PIN:

    • Turn the outside knob of the lock to wake it.
    • Enter your PIN by alternating turns to the left and right for each digit.
    • Upon correct entry, the lock will emit two short beeps, indicating it has been activated.

    The Bold Smart Lock is designed to be keyless. Access is managed through the app, fob, or PIN code. The PIN feature allows you to access your home without relying on your smartphone. Using the backup PIN is easy.

    2. Enter your PIN by alternating turns to the left and right for each digit.
    3. Upon correct entry, the lock will emit two short beeps, indicating it has been activated.
